Single Sku labeling System ( Hybrid/ Phygital)

We will take passii.vn as a case to explain the first problem our label system solves. Passii is a second hand consignement service with +40,000 records/ products. Imagine you This is a huge number of SKUs and each and everyone of these SKUs is a unique one that need to be tracked online and offline.
A physical label is the only way you can connect these records.

How is it done?
For the case of passii, each label must communicate the following information on each records
A code, a name, barcode, and price.
This information is enough for a variety of operations so lets dig on each field and how is it useful.
A code in the case above is SOO34A-065
S0034 Tells us the owner of the item. A the postion in the warehouse (rack A) and 065 is the postion in the rack left to right. The name is the combination of the brand, category and color.

This information is helpful for picking operation as you have a sale order with name and code as infrmation on each line.

The first thing you would need is a decal label printer and a decal label roll set up the printer
The data entery process:
You can simply load an excel sheet with all the recods on line and generate the labels in seconds.

The alternative way is to have a data entry system that is suitable for single SKU where you caan have the name generated automatically.
in the case for passii.vn each inventory records has attributes such as category, brand, color, size, etc
If you have an inventory system each product is a line, a record that can be linked to multiple fields in these records.
